Air Vanuatu Domestic Flights Resume

20 March 2015

Air Vanuatu has advised domestic flights are starting to return to schedule, with several flights operating this weekend.

"Today (Friday) we are operating to Santo and Tanna. Tomorrow we will return to Norsup, Longana and Walaha as well. Sunday we're back in to Craig Cove, Sola, Ulei and Lonorore," Chief Executive Officer Joseph Laloyer said.

"Our international flights have been operating as normal all week, and we're carrying essential aid supplies and personnel from Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand."

Air Vanuatu domestic aircraft have been used for aid relief to the outer islands and remain available to the NDMO to freight essential aid as required.

Air Vanuatu expects normal domestic operations to resume from Monday.
