e-Commerce & Online Channel Support

Based at Bauerfield Airport, Port Vila, Vanuatu

Interested applicants are invited to apply for the role of e-Commerce & Online Channel Support at Air Vanuatu.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage website design to ensure consistency to deliver attractive user interfaces on the website in line with Air Vanuatu’s brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Web Developers to create mock ups and final designs for deployment on Air Vanuatu’s online channel.
  • Using business analytics to drive user experience enhancements on the website and digital touch points.
  • Collaborate with team members in mapping and delivering the airline’s digital and solution road map.
  • Drive the understanding and use of analytics amongst the team.
  • Work with multiple business units and stakeholders to execute digital initiatives.
  • Manage project implementation activities ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
  • Manage third party tags on site and ensure the implementation of these tags are compliant with Data Privacy and cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Provide monthly reporting of online channel performance – Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, Display Marketing.
  • Manage web contents to ensure relevance and ease of navigation in order to increase site visits and conversations.
  • Provide support to online channel campaigns and tacticals, ensuring relevant contents are uploaded.
  • Work with team members to ensure e-Commerce KPIs are tracked and available for reporting and analysis. 
  • Analyse SEO traffic to understand the impact of different design and content changes on SEO.

What we would like from you:

  • A tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: e-Commerce, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Website & Graphics Design, or Digital Marketing.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous and an eye for detail to produce quality work.
  • Possess strong creative thinking, problem solving and design thinking skills.
  • Willingness to engage in multiple work assignments and projects across different business units.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Result driven to meet expectations, deadlines and departmental targets.
  • Good planning and organisation skills.
  • Experience in website management or digital marketing would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Provide cover for team members as well as system support over weekends and public holidays.

PSS & Product Support Officer

Based at Bauerfield Airport, Port Vila, Vanuatu

Interested applicants are invited to apply for the position of PSS & Product Support Officer at Air Vanuatu and to be based at Bauerfield Airport, Port Vila.

Primary objective: Provide first level support for Amadeus Applications and Solutions across the Air Vanuatu network.  The role will also act as additional support to team members in the e-Commerce and Distribution team.

What you will be doing:

  • First point of contact to support and address Amadeus application queries and provide a resolution and/ or fix.
  • Escalate, coordinate and investigate serious and critical problems with expert teams.
  • Log cases via online incident portal ensuring that resolutions are in line with SLA and support efforts to promote proactive self-learning with users.
  • Manage Passenger System user access roles and permissions in compliance with application access agreements.
  • Maintain document library to ensure content is relevant for users.
  • Collaborate on reviewing Amadeus application and solution enhancements and identifying relevant enhancements to support business processes.
  • Conduct end user testing of new applications and solutions prior to implementation.
  • Support end to end user experience testing to identify points of improvements.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify areas of improvements.
  • Monitor payment gateway transactions for online channel, flagging any issues that are captured during the payment process.
  • Reconcile billing information from key suppliers.
